Jimmy’s primary role is to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within established budgets. His 20 years of commercial experience ranges from “ground-up” shopping centers to movie theaters, retail stores, tenant build outs and hospital facilities.
Prior to joining May Moeller Purcell Construction Company, Jimmy held superintendent positions with E.C. Price and Benning Construction, overseeing projects that spanned anywhere from 15,000 to 50,000 square feet. He has implemented original designs as well as those of ubiquitous corporate brands such as Starbucks and Walgreens.
In addition to his construction expertise, Jimmy holds Level 1A Certification with the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission, demonstrating a fundamental understanding of erosion and sediment control, field maintenance, stream buffers, vegetative and structural BMP practices, and related concerns. He has also received infection control training for hospital infectious disease.
Married 37 years, with three children and three grandchildren, Jimmy enjoys woodworking, camping, fishing and playing the drums -- preferably big band and jazz. He is active in Flat Creek Baptist Church, where he serves as deacon.
