As project manager, Mark oversees the entire lifecycle of the construction project: bidding, estimating, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, permitting, inspections, quality control, value engineering, client relations and logistics.
Besides being an excellent task manager, Mark serves as an advisor to clients. For example, his insight has enabled residential subdivision developers to achieve cost reductions of 15 to 30 percent in many categories of construction.
Prior to joining our firm, Mark was development manager for Piedmont Real Estate Group. There, he developed a consulting business aimed at helping lenders navigate and manage the myriad of issues associated with distressed residential and commercial assets in the wake of adverse market conditions. He advised these clients on development/zoning, NPDES compliance, construction management, HOA management and other areas of concern.
Earlier in his career, Mark worked for Epic Consulting, where his duties included consulting, construction oversight, environmental due diligence, brownfield remediation and other technical services.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and was a National Merit Scholar. Mark and his wife Corrie have four daughters.
